Control Room Solutions for Utilities That Put You in Command

The European Union is the World’s second largest energy market and the largest importer of energy. Dependency is forecasted to rise until 2030, against a backdrop of rising costs and tightening regulations aimed at reducing greenhouse gases and carbon emissions.

While greater demand for water, climate change and the increased volume of waste water has inevitably led to new regulations regarding water treatment and recycling.

Market forces demand effective procedures for optimal plant production and processing. So monitoring systems have developed combining various SCADA systems and IBIS information with large screen displays to identify plant inefficiencies.

These systems alert operators to abnormal operation and the control solution must provide operators intelligible and clearly displayed data, from a display as consistent and fault-free as the plant supply itself.

How do we help?

Our engineers ensure component design and selection mean low failures and minimal downtime for our customers. The RPMX and RPMSP rear projection engines have a published MTBF (mean time between failures) rating of >63,000 hours – the highest in the industry.

And this reliability figure is not based on a theory, but proven field data.

The same systems utilise air-bearing colour-wheels and automatic color calibration. Both lamps in this dual lamp system come with their own plug-in memory card to store the spectral characteristics unique to that lamp. After a manual or automatic lamp change, the projector uses this data to recalibrate itself to compensate for lamp spectral variations between old and new lamps.

In addition, D132U models include ColorLOC™, an embedded colour sensor enables capability for continuous colour monitoring and correction. If colour-shifts occur over time, the projector automatically provides colour correction to best maintain colour balance across the display wall.

Invaluable when looking to ensure different lines within a SCADA map are distinguished, and further complimented by 10-bit digital colour processing and 13-bit colour correction allow operators to clearly recognise red, orange, yellow and green lines within a display.
