Christie manufactures two display wall controller systems, the TVC Series and Spyder.

TVC controllers use proven server technology from Hewlett Packard, an industry leader in the development of industrial grade servers and being network based utilizes a Microsoft Server 2003 operating system.

This permits the display of multiple software applications, external video (standard and high definition), RGB (VGA and DVI) and remote client workstations, as a single ultra-high resolution Windows desktop.

And exclusive browser-based Christie software allows control and monitoring using remote clients. Without the need to install external software, no additional site or seat licenses, no annual software maintenance – just the opportunity to integrate all the surveillance technologies at your disposal.

Christie’s Spyder differs form the TVC controller, which is PCI (computer) based, incorporating proprietary hardware pixel processing, permitting an unprecedented number of hardware inputs that can be displayed and scaled simultaneously it supports analogue and digital sources, composite, RGB, DVI and HDSDI video.

The SpyderPoint software also permits the creation of multiple pictures in pictures, which can be defined, shaped and blended and created with transitional and timed effects, even edited on the fly, ideal for C3 environments and situation rooms.
